A nice poem from the movie "Sehar"

This poem is a part of one of my favorite Hindi movie "Sehar". Based on the Hindu belief of human ,made up of five elements i.e. Fire, earth, air, water and sky, the poem is an individual's testimony of his humble acceptance of almighty's great powers and the ultimate reality of death.

इस काली ठंडी आग को वापस कर रहा हूँ मैं…..

और इसीके साथ लौटा रहा हूँ, ये सफेद मिट्टी, ये गतिहीन पानी , ये बहरी हवा

और ये अथाह आकाश, जो गूंगा है…..|

यूँ तो मैं जानता हूँ ईश्वर, की तुम जानते थे की एक दिन,

मैं ये सब कुछ इसी तरह तुम्हें वापस कर दूँगा |

Iss kali thandi aag ko vapas kar raha hoon main…..

Aur isike sath lauta raha hoon, ye safed mitti, ye gatiheen pani , ye bahari hawaa

aur ye athah akash, jo gunga hai…..

Yoon to main janta hoon ishawar, ki tum jante the ki ek din,

main ye sab kuchh issi tarah tumhe vapas kar dunga….
